2020 Soul Train Awards Recap & Winners

The 2020 Soul Train Awards celebrated the best in Soul, R&B, and Hip-Hop with a unique and intimate setting that viewers at home appreciated. Hosts Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold opened the show with an electric medley of hits to keep the high energy flowing.

Some of the top performances include Brandy, as she sang her heart out on stage while bellowing hits from her latest album “B7.” The one and only Jazmine Sullivan sang us into the heavens with her unbelievable vocal ability. Jazmine showcased her new single, “Pick Up Your Feelings,” as a reminder that she will forever be that singing chick, and don’t you forget it!

This year’s Soul Cypher featured artistry from R&B Stars PJ Morton, Chante Moore, Shanice, and Stokely. Monica gave a beautiful heartfelt speech as she accepted the “Lady of Soul” Award and had the intimate crowd on their feet rocking to the songs that only Monica can poetically perform. And a special treat included a collaborative performance from Babyface and New Orleans native Lucky Daye as they gave us a new rendition of Toni Braxton’s 1992 hit written by Babyface, “Love Shoulda Brought You Home” in the 2020 R&B remix style of “Shoulda.”

Chris Brown walked away as the evening’s most awarded artist with four awards, followed by musical sensation H.E.R. winning two Soul Train awards.

Congratulations to all of the artists, performers, and winners of this year’s Soul Train Awards. View photos from the show below and enjoy.
