The SPAM brand conducted a survey by OnePoll, revealing some surprising results. The top five unusual food combinations from 2000 Americans in California, Texas, New York, Hawaii, and Florida were unveiled. The most unexpected finding was the number one favorite food combo, with 55% of the votes, being the act of dipping french fries in a chocolate milkshake. Who would have thought that something so simple and a little out of the ordinary could be such an awesome treat?
In honor of these findings, GoodPop and Ore-Ida developed a Fudge n’ Vanilla French Fry Pops collaboration to bring a little love and nostalgia to Americans across the country. “At GoodPop, we love creating cleaned-up versions of classic treats. With this seasonal collaboration, we hope to rekindle that childlike joy of summer with a decidedly modern twist,” says Daniel Goetz, CEO and Founder of GoodPop.
Upon hearing the news, I contacted GoodPop for more information about this French Fry Pops and discovered this collab is only being offered online. For $9.99, customers like myself could purchase one bag of four ice cream pops made with oat milk, frozen chocolate fudge, and sprinkled with real crispy potatoes. Therefore, this special treat is dairy-free, gluten-free, and nut-free. I’ve been living under a rock because I am not too familiar with the Good Pop brand, but now, I am a fan who notices their products displayed in the grocery store and will definitely add them to my future shopping list.
Admittedly, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I can honestly say that these pops are a delightful surprise. Fudge isn’t typically my go-to when it comes to ice cream, and the idea of mixing it with french fries had me intrigued. The result? A burst of crunchy crispiness that’s akin to a spoonful of fresh rice crispy cereal. The fudge, not too sweet, adds just the right amount of decadence, making this dessert feel luxurious and worth every penny.
The packaging that arrives on your doorstep is top-tier and supports protecting our earth by providing eco-friendly boxing and styrofoam. If you’re wondering how the ice cream is transported and maintains the level of coldness needed not to melt, dry ice will save you the trouble of panicking if you’re unable to reach your doorstep with quickness before placing it in the freezer. Remember, never touch dry ice with your hands. GoodPop placed these instructions on the box as a much-needed reminder and guide to the proper disposal method of dry ice.
I recommend buying this product if this collaboration is extended or returned because it is currently sold out. I hope to reach the overall goal of placing this ice cream in stores. Visit https://goodpop.com to learn more. View my quick video clip to see my opening reveal.
