NASA confirmed a meteor sighting in Ohio on March 17. Today, March 21, at least 105 people have reported to the American Meteor Society that they heard a loud boom and saw a fireball streak across the sky in Texas.
What was once considered a rare scientific event is beginning to look like a potential pattern. As of 3/21/26, NASA has not officially confirmed the status of this latest fireball.
