Didn’t we almost have it all? In case you missed last night’s rematch of music producer genius Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and Teddy Riley, I have a short recap.
Ever so smooth, Babyface brought out skittles, red Kool-Aid, and a guitar to match his unbothered effervescence with flair. Teddy Riley kept it simple, but had battery trouble with his device.
Nevertheless, music won the night as over 500,000 people logged onto Instagram, and therefore caused the app to crash! Many of us were stuck looking at a frozen mobile screen, while others switched watching this epic battle on a desktop computer.
I am grateful that we had the opportunity to watch these gentlemen showcase their work for the masses to enjoy. Although we didn’t receive the full 20 songs apiece rule, the night ended beautifully from the heart. View the playlist from the battle below.
