For the first time in BET Awards Weekend history, a celebrity dodgeball game took place at the 2018 BET Experience and fans enjoyed themselves.
Dodgeball is a fun recreational sport that brings out comedy, sportsmanship, and a little exercise if you’re not in the best shape. The rules at this event consisted of 3 competition sets, with a minimum of 4 contestants per game and 3 minutes per celebrity game. Overall fans received a thorough portion of hilarious entertainment.
This year the BET X Celebrity Dodgeball commentary provided by Christian Crosby and Gia Peppers helped the crowd get hype. Participants from the “Love and Hip Hop” casts: Ray J., Safaree, Yung Joc, Nikki Mudarris, Rasheeda, Momma Dee, Karlie Redd; competed with each other, and team “Hollywood” swept team “Atlanta” to take home the winning trophy. We also saw surprise guests from “Wild N Out” as well as the hit boy band, PRETTYMUCH and music from DJ Brittany Sky.
Sprinkled amongst the dodgeball game were intermission performances by certified platinum artist Deshon Dezar, LEIKELI47, and Molly Brazy. Both casts of the Love & Hip Hop franchise provided the best entertaining comedy overall. View photos from the BET Experience Celebrity Dodgeball Game below.
