Club Quarantine 2020: A Party With A Purpose

I pulled up to the club last night, and it was poppin’ yo! I didn’t need a babysitter, gas money, or an outfit to get myself together either. Honey Chile, last night the DJ saved our lives with a song and a turntable.

In case you haven’t heard, Club Quarantine is the latest spot that has opened on Instagram Live and DJ D-Nice is the man making it all happen.

It felt like all of America was there feeling the vibes from D-Nice’s eclectic collection of hits featuring Latin, Caribbean, Reggae, R&B, and more. When I entered, the numbers kept rising, and the goal at the time was to reach 50,000 viewers (He eventually climbed to over 100,000) which was completed effortlessly. As an unexpected surprise for surpassing our goal, Forever First Lady, Michelle Obama ever so graciously bestowed us with her presence.

After that, things got wild, and the club got too packed for me. Therefore IG or my Internet provider kicked me out, and I couldn’t get back in?. Nevertheless, I was surrounded by people I would rarely see in public. Last night we were all VIP, showing one another love as we allowed music to heal our spirits from a COVID-19 pandemic.

Thank you, D-Nice, for using your gift and making an impact on the world. I tried to get my son to join me at Club Quarantine, but he refused. He’s at that age where hanging around your mom isn’t so cool anymore.

And now, it’s time for me to attend church via live streaming so that I may give God praise. Momma always says, “If you can go party all night on Saturday, you better get up and go to church on Sunday.” The beauty of rolling over and enjoying Sunday service via home is everything. Won’t He Do It!

Stay tuned to DNice Instagram and follow him to find out the next time Club Quarantine is open. Visit our social media channels to watch a clip of the party last night. Enjoy.
