During the 2024 Walt Disney Studios presentation at Cinemacon in Las Vegas, Nevada, fans witnessed a plethora of cinematic goodies and surprises. The teaser trailer for Disney’s “Mufasa: The Lion King” came to life through the imaginative lens of Oscar® winner Barry Jenkins as he discussed the film with the audience. The film will open in theaters on December 20, 2024.
Film Synopsis:
Told in flashbacks, “Mufasa: The Lion King” reveals the rise of one of the greatest kings of the Pride Lands as Rafiki, Timon, and Pumbaa share the story of Mufasa with a young lion cub. The film is produced by Adele Romanski & Mark Ceryak, and executive produced by Peter Tobyansen.
