Cynthia Erivo stars as Harriet Tubman in HARRIET, a Focus Features release. I have always found the life of Harriet Tubman so intriguing and profound as an African American woman. And I will be delighted to watch Cynthia Erivo depict the true story of a woman forever known as a heroic legend. HARRIET is scheduled for a November 1, 2019 theater debut.

Based on the thrilling and inspirational life of an iconic American freedom fighter, HARRIET tells the extraordinary tale of Harriet Tubman’s escape from slavery and transformation into one of America’s greatest heroes.
