Football season is back and in full swing as teams from the National Football League prepare for the upcoming season. I had the esteemed honor of covering a Houston Texans training camp and I am thrilled to share this experience with you all.
One thing that everyone can agree on is that it was hot! Nevertheless, there is work to be done and the Houston Texans need this valuable time to assess the team and players as a whole.
In terms of visual perspective, I like to call training camp the “Appetizer”, the regular football season is “Dinner”, and playoffs are “Dessert.” Hopefully the Houston Texans will experience the “Icing on the cake” by playing the Super Bowl in their hometown.
Overall my goal is to offer you a glimpse into the 2016 training camp and share sentiments from the fans. I would like to thank the Houston Texans organization for the opportunity. I also want to give a special shout-out to #56 Brian Cushing and #11 Jaelon Strong for taking a selfie with me. You guys rock!
