Whenever you are invited into a kitchen to help cook a meal do you run and hide? Are you ashamed to admit that you need some major help in the cooking department? There is no need to feel as if you are all alone. Many people can identify with not knowing how to boil an egg or preparing a simple dish of pasta. On Sunday, January 1 at 9p.m. ET/PT the Food Network will premiere new contestants for their 2017 Worst Cooks in America series.
A Houstonian named Ann Odogwu will be appearing on the show and I look forward to seeing her transformation. Being that Ann is a native of Nigeria and cooking is a big part of her culture, somehow this tradition didn’t formally pass down to her hands. Ann desires to make her family and father proud by using this experience to claim her rightful place as a worthy cook in the kitchen. By the end of the series the contestant with the most growth will win a grand prize of $25,000.
There are two other Texas contestants that will be representing the Lone Star State. Be sure to watch them all on January 1. Enjoy!
