In her own words, there are no day-one fans. You meet her when you meet her. I first met Leikeli47 musically masked when she performed at the 2018 BET Awards Experience, which I was covering. What I loved about her then and even more so now is her undeniable confidence and her ability to command a crowd. Everyone feels like family in her presence, and she’ll have you walking away encouraged.
So when I was planning my trip to New York City and discovered she had a show, it was absolutely necessary to be there for this full circle moment of her ultimate reveal beyond the mask.
