Let’s Eat: Pumpkin Patch Pasta

Visiting Trader Joe’s is an all-time favorite field trip of mine. I explore the aisles and treat it as a relaxing experience when it’s not overly crowded.

Seasonal items are always fun to behold, and I always have high expectations for the next best food item to try. I love the Fall season and all things festive, so I was tickled pink to discover pumpkin pasta made with one of my favorite food ingredients, butternut squash.

So, if you’re looking for a dish with minimal effort that’s delicious and hearty to enjoy, try this Pumpkin Patch Pasta (a name I created for this dish). It’s a combination of items mixed with fresh produce for a fun theme delight.

Trader Joe’s Food Item Ingredients:

1.) Organic Fall Zucchette Pasta

2.) Autumnal Harvest Creamy Pasta Sauce

3.) Organic Roasted Red Pepper and Almond Pesto Sauce

4.) Minced Garlic

5.) Pomegranate Seeds

I did not boil the entire bag of pasta for this dish due to its expansion once the pasta is ready in Al dente form. I used the whole bottle of creamy pasta and added one to two tablespoons of the organic roasted red pepper and almond pesto sauce for a nice simmer. Then I added a teaspoon of minced garlic plus some minced onion. Fresh spinach is added and utilized for my greenery. The pomegranate seeds are a significant health benefit bonus that adds a slight sweet/tartness to the meal.
