If you’ve ever been called a “weirdo” or a “nerd” it is evident to the observer that you are indeed peculiar. Thinking and living outside of a box formed by society can actually be freeing to the soul. Therefore it is refreshing when you hear music artists celebrate the uniqueness of an individual that is often judged and overlooked.
Weirdo Workshop band Louis York (a.k.a. Chuck Harmony & Claude Kelly) recently released the official video for their single “Nerds,” which is featured on Masterpiece Theater-Act I (Click Here). The song, which the guys wrote and produced along with the entire EP, kicks off with a self-esteem-boosting ’80s rock/power ballad anthem, delves into a politically thought-provoking ballad that questions the ways of the world (especially in today’s climate) and music.
I applaud these musicians for creating artistry that can affect the lives of others for the greater good. As a weirdo and nerd myself, I proudly accept this gift and encourage others to do the same. View the video below and enjoy!
