NBC’s “Grosse Pointe Garden Society” Non-Spoiler Review

If you’re looking for a drama series infused with comedy that will keep you captivated by the countless shenanigans the characters encounter, NBC’s “Grosse Pointe Garden Society” is one to watch.

Premiering Sunday, February 23 at 10 p.m. ET/PT and next day on Peacock, the “Grosse Pointe Garden Society” piqued my interest when I learned that actress Aja Naomi King (Catherine) is included in the cast. If you’re a fan of King’s work, she will not disappoint in her new role as a wife and mother, which transcends her ‘How to Get Away with Murder’ college student role. The charm, anguish, and no-holds-barred personality that King delivers is a reminiscent extension that makes you remember the good ol’ days while being grateful for something new.

The remaining cast includes Melissa Fumero, Ben Rappaport, AnnaSophia Robb, Alexander Hodge, Nancy Travis, Matthew Davis and Felix Wolfe. Each character provides a unique perspective and outlook on how their lives got flipped upside down. The cohesiveness of their craziness is quirky, good, and quite entertaining to witness.

After reviewing a few episodes of this new pilot, I found myself being pulled in and wanting to know more of what happens next. Potential fans may find themselves taken on a journey with unexpected twists and turns.

Overall, I sincerely hope viewers will allow this drama series to flourish because I can totally dig it😉. Be sure to catch the premiere of “Grosse Pointe Garden Society” when it airs on NBC Sunday, February 23 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
