NEW SINGLE MOTHER SERIES: HELP! I NEED LOVE HOSTED BY PAUL C. BRUNSON
Matchmaker, speaker, and TV host Paul C. Brunson will premiere a new television series for single mothers titled, HELP! I NEED LOVE May 27, 2017 on ABC at 10 PM ET.
Single motherhood is an experience unlike any other. There are times during the process of parenting that a mother will neglect and become quite content with walking this road alone. The idea of being in love is no longer a necessity but may appear as a hindrance to getting the job of raising successful children done.
Paul C. Brunson made it his mission to highlight a demographic that is represented in the real world, but rarely seen on television when it comes to finding true love. The lives of three single mothers taking the vulnerable leap of opening their hearts once more, is sure to be an eye opening experience.
HELP! I NEED LOVE is seeking viewers to watch the first episode and share your thoughts about the program via social media or our website.
You may also set your DVR to record the program during the 10:00 p.m. ET block that is currently shown as the 20/20 time slot. If a lot of viewers respond to this positive messaging, more episodes will air for all to enjoy. I look forward to sharing my perspective soon.
Update: My Thoughts About the Show
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this new series. What I loved most is how Paul C. Brunson allowed Courtney, a widowed middle school Bronx teacher, the opportunity to have some time alone to reexamine herself and discover what she is looking for in a potential mate.
After an in depth conversation with Paul, Courtney received a makeover, a flirting lesson, makeup, groceries, and a clothing wardrobe to help ease her busy lifestyle. Kudos for realizing the logistics of a single mother’s day-to-day activities involves food and clothing. This gift was awesome.
The true test of Courtney’s experience involved going on 20 dates within 20 days. It was like a roller coaster of “Is he the one?” At first Courtney reacted abrasive and off putting during a few dates. I totally understood her demeanor, because being a middle school teacher places you in a skeptical mood and disposition without you being aware at times.
Thankfully, Paul gave her some corrective behavior advice with love and all was good to go from that point on. Although I was quite shocked when a similar match found no interest in wanting to see Courtney again. I’m shocked because he kissed her on the lips after their date, which caused me to assume he liked her. Once again Paul encouraged this painful rejection by reminding Courtney that not all great guys are meant for great women. These were powerful words that resonated on her heart.
In the end, an unlikely match allowed Courtney to follow her heart and not her head of comfort when it comes to love. Her potential mate met her daughter and it seems they will have promising future.
Hopefully we will see more single mothers get the help they need on a network that is willing to allow their life to shine.
