On December 6-7, 2018 Bacardi, Swizz Beatz, and The Dean Collection held the NO COMMISSION global art platform at the Faena Forum in Miami Beach. Known for being more than just an art fair, this unique initiative combines a two day cultural experience with sonic and visual art, and encourages a new generation to explore the beauty in artistic expression.
Since 2015 NO COMMISSION blazed the trail of giving artists free exhibition space and total control of sales during the event. A unique addition to this year’s Miami platform is the inclusion of eight emerging photographers, selected from a group of five thousand in a “Take the Shot” challenge where the wider public was invited to submit photographic work for review.
Over 1000 guests were in attendance and a host of celebrities including rapper Meek Mill who took the stage to perform his classic hit “Dreams and Nightmares” and was later joined by A$AP Ferg for their hit “Plain Jane.” View footage from the event here.
