Glitter&Gumbo salutes designer Ralph Lauren as he celebrates the 50th Anniversary of his lifestyle brand. Launched in 1967 at the age of 28-Years-old, Mr. Lauren created a label that continues to evolve with timeless elegance from one generation to the next effortlessly.
In honor of this remarkable milestone, a fashion show and gala dinner were held at the Bethesda Terrace fountain in Manhattan’s Central Park, a homage to Mr. Lauren’s hometown of New York City. Special guests included David Lauren, Anne Hathaway, Blake Lively, Steven Spielberg, Oprah Winfrey, Hillary Clinton and more.
Today, the designer still acts as the chief creative officer of the brand and will forever be monumental in the lives of so many people. Congratulations and cheers to another 50 years.
