Angela CheriseComments Off on Oprah’s First Essence Festival
Everyone by now should be aware of the Oprah effect. This is when Oprah’s name or appearance causes an uproar among audiences or an environment. The Ernest N. Memorial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana was on high alert and the vibration in the building was electric. The picture below is just a glimpse of the people that were waiting to enter the ballroom to hear Oprah give an inspirational speech on Saturday, July 2. The convention center was filled to capacity and if you didn’t arrive early, attendees were fortunate to watch the event on the big screens outside the theater.
Oprah looked stunning in her gorgeous red ruche dress with plunging neck. The shoes were fabulous and the eyeglasses to match as well. Oprah came to serve not only in message but her style spoke volumes too. View more pictures from this fascinating experience below. Enjoy!
