ICYMI: Kansas University held their 35th Annual Late Night Phog at Allen Fieldhouse to highlight their upcoming 2019-2020 Basketball program season. According to a Kansas Sports report article, Associate Athletic Director for Marketing and Video Services, J.T. Geren, spearheaded this venture and began the process to bring Snoop Dog to the event in June 2019. J.T. Geren’s goal was to bring a multi-generational artist this year.
The concert portion of the event was presented at the end of the festivities around 8:45 or 9:00 pm. Normally the concert begins before the men’s scrimmage but occurred at the end. Snoop brought out stripper poles and had “Acrobatic Dancers” during his set.
Kansas University Director of Athletics, Jeff Long, states he asked for a family friendly performance. Long issued an apology to those in attendance that were offended by Snoop Dogg’s performance.
So, after all this time and effort, Kansas is shocked?? Head Coach Bill Self said he only stayed for a couple of songs. So did he stay for the whole performance? Correct me if I’m wrong but Snoop only performed 3 songs??♀️. IJS.
Past Late Night performers of record include 2 Chainz and Lil Yachty.
