The Boss Baby is a delightful animated comedy that the whole family will enjoy. In this Dreamworks Animation and 20th Century Fox film, the imagination of a child is celebrated and brought to life through the eyes of a character named Tim Lauren Templeton. And yes, he isn’t fond of his middle name either.
Tim (voiced by Miles Bakshi) is the only child in the Templeton family. With the love of his mother (voiced by Lisa Kudrow) and father (voiced by Jimmy Kimmel) he has everything he needs. That is until suddenly, an unusual sibling named Boss Baby (voiced by Alec Baldwin) enters his life and his world turns into mayhem. The Boss Baby is a hilarious character sent to the Templeton family for a special mission; a mission to increase the love of babies in our hearts versus the love of cute little puppies.
The animation is beautiful and filled with rich colors to please the eye. There are underlining jokes that only a parent may fully understand however, kids will laugh too. I found myself giggling here and there throughout the movie.
Overall this is a feel-good comedy that will brighten your day. The Boss Baby is available in theaters March 31, 2017.
IDEAS FOR PARENTS:
If you’re not ready to explain to your young child where babies come from, this film provides a fabulous demonstration. I absolutely love this concept ?.
If you feel your only child may have a difficult time adjusting to a new sibling in the family, The Boss Baby is a great film to start the dialogue process.
