Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans and his wife, Jamila, launched the Ryans Family Foundation by hosting a private shopping spree for students in grades 4 through 12 at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Houston, Texas.
59 children were intentionally selected to reflect the significance of Ryans’ former jersey number during his playing career with the Texans. Guests were warmly welcomed by community partners, the Texans’ mascot TORO, and the Texans cheerleaders.
