Glitter&Gumbo was in attendance at day two of the 2023 ESSENCE Festival of Culture™ presented by Coca-Cola® and the panels were overall enlightening. The fellowship of women and men around me felt like an agreement of, “Let the church say amen!”
Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris, Oprah Winfrey and Caroline Wanga’s “Chief to Chief” session, and the cast of “The Color Purple” all dropped gems and nuggets to help us refocus our spiritual radar to encapsulate the essence of who we are called to be in this world.
