Super Bowl LI: Atlanta Falcons vs. New England Patriots

It was quite shocking to witness the heartbreaking defeat of the Dallas Cowboys on national television. Can you imagine your dream of playing in the AFC Championship being cut by a field goal with three seconds left on the clock? Now I’m not a Dallas Cowboys fan however, I know that loss hurt. Then again, I was hurt when my dream of watching the Texans play in the Super Bowl ended in New England against the Patriots.

I guess you can say “Enough!” of all the shoulda, woulda, coulda talk. So it is only right and fair to congratulate the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons for advancing to the Big Championship game. To reach a goal that is not so easily obtainable in the National Football League is beyond words at times.

Atlanta has shown that they are a force to be reckoned with in players such as Julio Jones to say the least. He alone defies gravity and turns into a superhero with hand catching powers. This guy is unbelievable at times. Matt Ryan is doing exceptionally well, delivering touchdowns and passer ratings that enable him to be in the caliber of a Super Bowl contender.

What can we say about New England? Tom Brady has proven time and time again that he just gets better with time. Even after a four-game suspension in the beginning of the season, it’s as if he never missed a beat. Although I grow quite annoyed with New England surpassing all of their opponents, you gotta admit that whatever they’re doing in that organization is working and they need to bottle it up and sell it. Bill Bellicheck is hilarious to me at times. His facial expressions alone are always meme worthy.

Sunday, February 5, 2017 on FOX everyone will be watching Tom Brady as he works toward receiving his fifth Super Bowl ring, and admiring the Falcons as they embark upon a journey of flying away with the Lombardi trophy. May the best team win.
