MARCH FOR OUR LIVES WASHINGTON, DC

Numerous March for Our Lives events are being held in cities across the country to demand a change in our U.S. gun laws, which are presently threatening the lives of innocent victims. Today in Washington, DC a March for Our Lives program included 17 speakers to honor the 17 students killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. Teenagers from around the country who have been affected by gun violence, represented the countless youth who are no longer choosing to be silent victims.

In addition, musical performances by Common, Miley Cyrus, Andra Day, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Demi Lovato and Vic Mensa and other surprise guests concluded the event.

GlitterandGumbo.com salutes our youth and everyone involved who are willing to fight with our voices and voting rights to demand change through Congress.
