The WNBA All-Star Week is highlighting the importance of empowering the next generation of leaders through its Changemaker Day initiative.
This half-day summit invited 100 high school freshmen girls from Chicago Public Schools and programs offered through the Foundation’s Girls Opportunity Alliance. As an added bonus, President Obama surprised the teens with a special visit and speech in the Obama Presidential Center’s Elie Wiesel Auditorium.
