“Jordan” Joy Oladokun

Born in Arizona and now living in Nashville, Oladokun is set on forging her own path and sharing the unique perspective she’s gained from living in today’s world as a black, queer folk artist and first-generation child of Nigerian immigrants. Her musical exploration began at age ten when she was inspired to learn guitar after seeing a video of Tracy Chapman—the first time she’d ever seen a black woman playing the instrument. In the years since, she has garnered a devoted fanbase and has had her music featured on several popular television shows including ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy,” Showtime’s “The L Word” and MTV’s “Catfish.”

“Complicated” Leela James

R&B powerhouse singer/songwriter Leela James follows up her new single release, “Complicated,” with the release of a new video. The video is directed by Chris Scholar for BOOC Productions and is a reimagined version of the cult classic film “Friday.”  Known to “speak the truth” and deliver soulful messages through her music, Leela has not taken her foot off the gas with Complicated.  A catchy, mid-tempo story that is reflective of James’ lyrical journey and musical excellence, “Complicated” is written by Rex Rideout and Leela James and produced by Rex Rideout.

“Velvet” Louis York

The world is still sheltered inside; however, hitmaking duo Louis York (Chuck Harmony & Claude Kelly) knows how to make us feel like we are at a live show. The band released live visuals for their smooth and sexy single “Velvet” off their album American Griots. Directed by Jeremy Ryan, the band sets the mood as Claude Kelly commands the stage with his raspy vocals taking the viewer to a dimly lit club embarrassed in their lover’s arms.

“Can’t Let It Show”  Tank

R&B Superstar Tank is back with the video for his new blockbuster single “Can’t Let It Show” that is heating radio stations and playlists all over the country. Directed by TAJ, the video shows a very remorseful Tank pleading to his lady for forgiveness. The video also stars NAACP Image Awards nominee actress and dancer Brandee Evans of the Starz hit show P-Valley.
