MULTI-GRAMMY NOMINATED SINGER/SONGWRITER/PRODUCER STOKLEY RELEASES UPCOMING PERFORMANCE DATES

You may remember singer/songwriter/producer Stokley as the lead singer of the 90’s group Mint Condition. His fiery and passionate voice got my attention years ago and I have been a fan ever since. Although Stokley is known to be the man behind the microphone blazing stages, it is his magic touch behind the scenes of producing that has allowed him to flourish even more.

As a seasoned musician and vocalist, Stokley has sung and performed with some of the most notable voices in music including the iconic Prince, Janet Jackson, and Luther Vandrossas well as has written and produced for chart-toppers like Usher, Jill Scott, Wale, Kelly Price, and a host of others.

Fans of the multi-Grammy nominated singer, songwriter and producer Stokley will be able to catch the hitmaker this weekend as part of the 2018 Bounce Trumpet Awards.  Hosted by film and television stars, Larenz Tate and Erica Ash, the Trumpet Awards are an all-star celebration of African American leaders who have achieved greatness and inspired it in others. Featuring stellar performances, stirring tributes and unforgettable moments, the awards enlighten human minds to the reality that true success is void of color and gender, this year they will honor Jermaine Dupri, Cameo, Richelieu Dennis, Tamika Mallory, Marley Dias, Dr. Lonnie Johnson and Rhyon Brown.  The Trumpet Awards airs on February 11, 2018, at 9:00 PM via Bounce TV.

Stokley released his highly anticipated debut solo album Introducing Stokley (click here) via Concord Records in early 2017.  The album features production duo Carvin Haggins and Ivan Barias, co-writing contributions from Sam Dew and Los Angeles-based songwriting group The A-Team, Omi, Robert Glasper and Estelle among others. The lead single “Level” (Click Here), which addresses the need and desire to find someone who compliments you spiritually, emotionally and intellectually, peaked at #1 on the Billboard Adult R&B Song Chart and #3 on the BDS R&B Radio charts as well as over 1.8 Million streams on Spotify. With his new single “Organic” (Click Here), Stokley confesses his praise for their natural beauty, while complimenting confidence. The single is surging up the charts and currently sits at #13.

Since the album’s release, Stokley has hit many cities performing songs from the album as well as previous hits and fan favorites.  In addition, he has also made several appearances with The Revolution paying homage to the legendary Prince.
