L.A. Reid’s new music label HITCO recently teamed up with Raphael Saadiq’s production company, Toler Heights Music, to sign the songstress. Her unique name is sparking curiosity and the meaning becomes clear when she explains, “When I think of a bonfire, it’s super inviting and fun. All are welcome. It’s a no-judgment zone. I hope listeners can gravitate towards what I’m doing in a similar way. Bonfyre is relatable and touchable, but she’s not your normal, average girl.”
I can totally relate to meaning behind her name and I’m loving the music. Raphael Saadiq also has that special touch that turns any project into a modern work of art. A little old school mixed with new school vibes makes this project captivate my listening skills.
