If you haven’t been watching one of the hottest shows on television, you are definitely missing out on some fantastic entertainment. I first learned of the “Power” series on Starz two years ago when my BFF recommended it. Ever since then, I make every effort to stay tuned and updated so I can stay in the loop with the latest conversations after each episode airs.
What is this show about? Well, executive producer Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson and show creator Courtney A. Kemp (“The Good Wife”) developed the hit drama “Power,” steeped in the seductive nightlife of New York’s elite and the violent underworld of international drug cartels. And we all know the drug pin lifestyle will have you looking over your shoulder with unexpected twists and turns. Ironically, “Ghost” portrayed by Omari Hardwick wants to leave the drug cartel scene while his partner “Tommy,” desires to continue living the lifestyle he’s known for a majority of his life.
Season four began on June 25, 2017 and it is hot, hot, hot! “Ghost” portrayed by the one and only Omari Hardwick is in prison and “Tommy” portrayed by Joseph Sikora is close behind in the prison entrapment game. “Angela Valdez” (Lela Loren) adulteress and side chick to “Ghost” created this whole mess and it is going to get ugly.
One thing I love about this television show is that its unpredictable and the writing is phenomenal. Creator Courtney A. Kemp also provides a writer’s perspective after each episode to clarify the character’s actions in certain scenes. Therefore if you are confused or have certain questions about what you witnessed, you will gain a better understanding after listening to Courtney’s short video summaries.

I had the esteemed pleasure of meeting Joseph Sikora or better known as “Tommy” at the 2017 Essence Festival. Sheer delight and unexplainable excitement enveloped my heart upon our greeting. Joseph has the coolest walk and he is a sweetheart in person too.
