The R&B crooner that is consistently giving us music with all the feels is back with a new EP. Tank releases “While You Wait” and it’s available now on all streaming platforms.
I must say this EP, “While You Wait” offers a soothing musicality with intuitive songwriting. Bravo to Tank for continually leading the charge of never letting real R&B go.
Fans and listeners can dive into the lead single “Perfect” which celebrates the imperfections that make us all unique. Whether it’s the crooked smile or a little cellulite on the thighs, “Perfect” is about finding and celebrating that beauty.
Tank states, “When I decided to do this EP, I wanted to give my fans something different and special, given the times we’re in. Just my piano and me. I wanted to bring this back to the basics of R&B.” He goes on to say “‘Perfect’ honors all things that make a grown man happy with his woman. Even with their perceived flaws…You’re perfect for me.”
