On November 18, 2017 the Houston Texans inducted WR Andre Johnson into the Ring of Honor and he is the first Texans player to receive this prestigious honor. November 18th also holds another special significance due to the City of Houston and Mayor Sylvester Turner declaring this date Andre Lamont Johnson Day.
As a man who is known as a gentle giant, Andre played 14 seasons in the National Football League, has a total of 14,185 receiving yards, 70 touchdowns, 7 Pro Bowls, and 2 Time AP All Pro recognition.
