“The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind” Premieres on Netflix March 1

Based on a true story and book adaptation of William Kamkwamba, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind tells the story about a thirteen year old boy in Malawi who invents an unconventional way to save his family and village from famine.

Netflix will premiere The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind on March 1. The film stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Aïssa Maïga, Lily Banda and introduces newcomer actor Maxwell Simba.
