Glitter&Gumbo received an opportunity to watch the premiere episode of Bravo’s new housewives series, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, airing on Wednesday, November 11, from 10:00 – 11:15 p.m. ET/PT.

The unique theme I noticed that’s being highlighted besides taping in a new city is religion. Many of us may not be aware that Salt Lake City is known for having a majority Mormon population. Therefore we get to see these housewives navigate the ins and outs of living within a city where religion plays a massive part in their lifestyle/family choices.

Out of all the housewives you will encounter, two main characters will definitely stand out among the others. Housewives (shown above) Jen Shah and Mary Cosby alone will have you scratching your head and wondering, “Are they real?” Because OMG, I sincerely want to raid their closets and find out how they indeed became the women they are today. They are truly something to witness, and their mouths are scathing at times.

Although Salt Lake City is a Mormon town, Mary Cosby’s background will have you floored. As a COGIC/Pentecostal preacher, I’m interested to see how Mary presides over her congregation.

Overall, these ladies kept my attention as I watched with so many questions popping up in my head. Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs on Wednesdays on Bravo 10–11 p.m. ET.
