Government Shutdown Assistance Resources

On December 22, 2018 a partial government shutdown began when the House and Senate could not agree on passing a spending bill, which President Trump demanded it should include expenses for a $5 billion border wall. Therefore 800,000 government workers are affected by this inhuman act of egotistical behavior. On January 12, 2019 the government shutdown entered its 22nd day and became the longest shutdown in U.S. History and t still continues at this very moment.

The American people who we depend upon to source significant facilities in our lives are now suffering with no major source of income. Homes are being foreclosed and food is now a scarce need for survival. Due to the hearts of many who oppose the treatment of our government workers several companies, agencies and businesses are stepping up to render aid to those in desperate need of help.

GlitterandGumbo.com compiled a list of some valuable resources to assist government workers looking for answers and financial/living assistance. We will update this list on a continuous basis until this crisis has ended.
