I had the pleasure of being introduced to this group at the 2016 Essence Music Festival when they gave us a fabulous impromptu performance in the media room. Known for entertaining crowds with an enthusiastic set, attendees will leave energized, uplifted, and wanting more. Tank and The Bangas are known for their authenticity which showcases an electric beam of light that continues to shine brightly. The Beauty Marks Tour is coming to Houston and we are in for a fantastic treat as Ciara performs a few throwbacks and songs off her new album. As Harlem’s Fashion Row Icon 360 Award recipient, Ciara is recognized as an individual who inspires and contributes to the advancement of minorities in all areas of fashion, beauty, business, philanthropy and entertainment. This title describes a woman who I view as a modern day Cinderella that has overcome the odds of pain and lives triumphantly as a mother, wife, daughter, and friend. MUMU FRESH – Friday, September 27
This summer I had the esteemed pleasure of watching Maimouna Youssef a.k.a. Mumu Fresh perform at the 2019 MC Lyte Women In Hip-Hop concert and it was blazing. Mumu’s refreshing aura and insightful lyrics will pull you in and have you rocking ingeniously to her rhythm. Her new masterpiece titled The Healing is executive produced by DJ Jazzy Jeff and features a playlist of inspiring music.
