Movie Review: Puerto Ricans in Paris

If you need are in need of some good authentic laughter this weekend, the movie Puerto Ricans in Paris will surely please your hilarious senses. NYPD Detectives Luis (Luis Guzman) and Eddie (Edgar Garcia) are two of the most interesting crime partners you will see on the screen today. Their acting skills are quite natural and believable as you embark upon a journey of life, love and heroism.

Actress Alice Taglioni (Colette) plays the part of a French designer who is searching for her new handbag design that was stolen by a black market thief. She enlists the help of Luis’ and Eddie to help her, but she has no idea the twists and turns that are involved when working with this team.

Fellow actresses Rosie Perez (Gloria) and Rosario Dawson (Vanessa) also bring to light the trials and tribulations of being in a relationship with these men.

Overall, I enjoyed watching this film and the comedic nature was quite refreshing. Puerto Ricans in Paris is playing now in theatres across the country, and is also available On Demand and on iTunes. Enjoy!
