NBA PLAYOFFS: HOUSTON ROCKETS BOUNCE BACK IN GAME 2 AND DECLARE, “HOW YOU LIKE ME NOW?”

During Round 2 of the NBA Finals the Houston Rockets rallied past the Utah Jazz to win the series. I was reminded of the fact that we should never underestimate our competition, and always be prepared for the changes that will occur when your opponent meets you in battle.

Next up in Round 3 we face our giants in the form of the 2017 NBA defending champs, Golden State Warriors. I exclaimed with the utmost sincerity that the NBA Championship is in their hands.

Although the game 1 loss on our home court appeared to be dreary and sad, the Houston Rockets displayed toughness and grit to shut naysayers down.

Literally everyone stepped up to make their mark. P.J. Tucker, Trevor Ariza, and Jeff Gordon let it be known that Chris Paul, James Harden, and Clint Capela aren’t the only players contributing to the team. Tucker alone had a postseason career-high of 22 points to light up the night. These boys are on fire and I’m loving every minute of it.

If the Rockets continue to play with this intensity as a unit, they are unstoppable. The road won’t be easy but the ride will be quite entertaining and fun to watch. To be honest, this is actually the NBA Finals matchup we’re witnessing right before our eyes without the official title.
