TikTok says disappointment will greet you with open arms if you’re moving to Atlanta to find love. Many women describe the ATL dating scene as one being full of scammers, down-low brothers, and wannabe rappers. However, Bravo is introducing a new series, “Love Match Atlanta,” premiering Sunday, May 8 @ 10 p.m. ET/PT to help love-seekers gain a unique perspective from five of the top Black Matchmakers in Atlanta.

“Love Match Atlanta” features Shae Primus, Kelli K Fisher, Tana Gilmore, Joseph Dixon, and Mignon Ming Clark, giving viewers a behind-the-scenes look as they navigate their personal and professional lives as Black Matchmakers. The Matchmaking Duo team of Kelli K Fisher and Tana Gilmore is well-known for their excellent work in the matchmaking community. I had the pleasure of attending one of their sessions at a previous Essence Festival, and the audience well-received their tips plus advice. Therefore I’m looking forward to seeing how this duo maneuvers amongst the movers and shakers in the Atlanta culture.

ABOUT THE SERIES
Five of the top Black Matchmakers in Atlanta navigate both their complicated clients and complicated friendship with each other. Shae meets with a new client whose sexual freedom presents a challenge. Ming questions if she should continue working with a problematic client. New to the ATL, the Matchmaking Duo has plans to take over the city but are caught off guard when their old friend and matchmaking rival, Joseph, allegedly steals another one of their business ideas.

“Love Match Atlanta” is produced by Boat Rocker’s Matador Content with Todd Lubin, Jay Peterson, Sam Brown, Kemar Bassaragh and Oji Singletary all serving as executive producers.
