Update: Congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles for defeating the New England Patriots to become the 2018 Super Bowl LII Champions. All things are possible if you believe.

Today is Super Bowl Sunday and the Phildelphia Eagles are competing against the New England Patriots in Minneapolis, Minnesota for the ultimate title of World Champion.
We know the journey for the New England Patriots is solidified through their undeniable legacy of greatness headlined by Coach Bill Belichick, Quarterback Tom Brady, exemplary coaches, and a supporting team roster that steps up when called upon.
The Philadelphia Eagles however had a challenging and interesting road block that could have altered their fate. When starting Eagles Quarterback Carson Wentz tore his ACL in week 14 the world stood still. Immediately people were thinking, “Do they have what it takes to compete past this day of reckoning?”
What I love most about this Philadelphia Eagles team is that they are a testament to the fact that despite the odds that are thrown at us in life, we can still reach our destiny with broken wings when we have someone to carry us. It takes a team effort to pull off a Super Bowl appearance and hopefully hold the Vince Lombardi trophy at the end of it all.
Nick Foles was in the process of giving up his lifelong dream of playing football. After encountering several failed opportunities to showcase his skills at the QB position, he took time away to talk to God and contemplate his next phase in life. Lo and behold, God said his time was not up and he had a huge blessing in store for Nick.
To the naked eye, in the beginning this backup QB landing spot with the Philadelphia Eagles wasn’t glamorous. Nothing was promised and he could have easily been waiting in the wings for a time that might not ever arise. However when it is your time God’s hand will break through the impossible.
Although many were heartbroken over the loss of Wentz, it is now time for Nick’s faith to take its rightful place on the big stage. Although many question if Foles has what it takes to compete against Tom Brady, we can’t deny that he is not working alone out there on the field.
Today, February 4, 2018, the ultimate test of a true team’s character will be measured by the heart, fight, and determination to win. Will the Philadelphia Eagles surpass the Patriots and become Super Bowl LII Champions? Yes, if they play smart and take advantage of every opportunity that presents itself tonight.
The fourth quarter mark with less than two minutes left on the clock is when Tom Brady works best. If the Eagles take away his ability to shine in this defining moment, we just might see a new team destined for a 2005 comeback unlike any other.
