During the 2017 Essence Festival the BEYGOOD Foundation announced the #BeyGood4Burundi initiative to provide safe water and sanitation to help diminish the country’s current water crisis. Nearly half of the population does not have basic drinking water and Beyonce’ is working with UNICEF to bring awareness for others in need.
A #BeyGood4Burundi booth was also available at the Ernest N. Morial convention center for Essence Festival attendees to receive insight and valuable information for this cause.
